So many things are going through my mind as I type on the keyboard.
I first met you in Mrs Weeks' 2nd grade class (1961-a long time ago). We were never close after that year but I would say we were friends through graduation in 1972. I often wondered how things turned out for you. In 2007, when the Reunion plans were announced and Bill created a website for our class, I was startled to learn that you were deceased. CJ answered my question on what happened. What came to my memory was a night at Crazy Zack's on Hillsborough Street sometime in 1978. I saw you across the dance floor and you danced with one of my friends. I was too busy looking at younger girls and never spoke to you. I can still see you. Now, I wish I had at least said hi! Hindsight being what it is. Every Spring I make a point to ride by your folk's old house to check out the blooming azaleas. They always stir up old memories.

Sleep Well!

I rode my motorcycle to the Fairgrounds for the meet-up for Bike Night. I took a side trip through the old neighborhood and headed up Powell Drive to Western Blvd. The azaleas at your old house were in full bloom.
