My memories of George Foxwell are like a distant view of an outstanding individual who had a strong opinion and a resounding impact on his world. I knew him mainly through others ... but respected him highly.

George was an integral part of the Broughton student body ... perhaps a bit of a renegade, and perhaps politically motivated, but then, in that way --- he was daring, perceptive and "ahead of his time..."

Here's to you, George -

George and I crossed paths several times because we both taught and coached in middle schools that played each other. We laughed about going to one of our class reunions together...deciding maybe we should walk in holding hands and watch everyone's reactions. Needless to say we never did that, but we did enjoy talking and laughing together.

I always felt George was a great sport...in more ways than one.

I miss you, George.

Wow, it just done on me that George and I used to talk on the phone for hours !

Back then kids did that, and the conversations were wonderful. Especially with George !

He was a great person !  I believe in the Resurrection, ( John 5:28 ), so I look forward to seeing George

again, and talking for hours 😊

George will always be remembered to me as an assertive and direct individual.  He and I attended the same church (Saint Ambrose Episcopal Church). In all our lives there are highs and lows, George learned to roll wih the punches..  He is missed!
