I met David Haywood and his cousin Victor Lane in seventh grade at Daniels. Without a doubt, the two of them were some of the funniest people I ever met.
David grew into a big "bear" of a man and I would run into him from time to time at the mall or around town. He was always quick to give me a big hug. What wonderful memories I have of him and of Victor. Victor passed away about three or four years ago.
I am better for having known both of them. As schools began to be integrated, they helped me learn that people are people, no matter the color of their skin.
We became Friends before we started school. You were always so smart, funny, Generous, and caring. We had great times together. I Thank "GOD" that "HE"enable you to be my FRIEND ! MISS YOU FRIEND
