Terry Page...I really didn't know him very well, but I remember him.  I didn't have a car, so I usually depended on Archie Futrell or Jim Corter for transportation. Archie and I worked at E.R. Poole Music in Cameron Village giving guitar lessons (and moving pianos), so we would periodically run into class mates who were musicians or sang. One day, gosh...I can't remember who drove, but I ended up...someplace...I think with Peggy Painter. (Wow, could she sing.)    Terry with his unassuming, "aw shucks" sort of understated way started playing the piano and singing!  What an ear-opener. BEAUTIFUL voice...and he WROTE the songs he sang. He, like several hundred of our classmates (myself definately included), were a bit awkward in our transition into adulthood.  It saddens me to see his name listed with those magical people we've lost along the way. But for those of us who believe there's something more, I like to think of Terry once again meeting challenges, awkward or otherwise, and transitioning into something worthy of his beautiful and artistic soul.
